We have drifts up to 3’ feet but probably around 10” inches overall on our part of LOZ which is mostly frozen this morning.

Guessing 6 inches approx in Clinton, way better than some of the predictions.

Media Scare Tactics! Puts people in a buying frenzy and shuts communities down. Granted we might have gotten 8-10" with drifts up to 20" and it does slow things down, but it wasn't bad. I'm a snowpocalypes veteran from when I lived in South Dakota. The same storm that his us and left 15-20'' snow drifts and 24-36" of snow hit MO too. Now that was fun! The street behind my house about 600yrds away had a snow drift from a house on one side of the road to a house on the other side of the road, at a glance it was from the gutter on the 2nd floor roof and 50 yards long. They brought in 60K front end loaders to dig them out. Another road had a drift from house to house 4' tall and 100 yards long. The only difference, we didn't shut down, the crews were out and clearing snow before most people were awake.
We got 6.5” just west of Springfield. I’m waiting on Mother Nature to remove it.
I got about an inch of sleet and freezing rain, then 10” of snow on top of it here in SE Missouri.
Has most of the snow melted away yet down there as being up Nort farther I keep hoping for a melting period just to make believe there is a spring time.
Gone here and we were in Springfield Thur. and very little left there and only in very shady areas.
Same down here
