Default Cabela's Spring Catalog with Ranger Boats

Looks like Johnny Morris' corporate takeover is going as planned since I saw Ranger Boats for sale in the Spring Cabela's catalog. I believe the prices have come down a little bit on the RT aluminium series. White River Marine group now owns Nitro, Ranger, Trition, Stratos, Tracker, and Legend. I wonder how long Yar-Craft/Bass Cat and Phoenix can hold out. I think Crestliner, Lund, and Xpress have a pretty good footing on the tin side. Maybe this will drive the cost on boats down because I think the price point is, or is about to be, maxed out. The new Ranger 521L ICON is 100k.......

Did not know that. First time I've seen them in a catalog.

Cabelas has always had Ranger. But I did see they had the Tracker/Nitro boats in the Cabelas catalogs. Tracker/Nitro has always been in the BPS catalogs. Surprised to only see a Ranger ad in the BPS catalog and showing each model and pricing on them.

Saw a Tracker aluminum sitting in front of KCK Cabela's last trip up there. They had Lowe boats outside. Didn't go to the boat area inside.
Also noted the crappie section of baits had severely shrunk.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Default Cabela's Spring Catalog with Ranger Boats

Mike I don't have any Tracker boats outside but my crappie section is getting larger . Should have some new baits from Top Secret baits before long. Two different styles/sizes with 10 colors of each. Looking at Rippertail and Bailey's Crappie Magnets also.

Well as I said I did not know Cabelas sold Ranger; however to see them advertised with Nitro is just odd. And Ranger now has upfront pricing like Nitro and Tracker which I actually like. My first boat was a Tracker TV-18 which I bought off the showroom floor at the Hearnes Center boat show. I asked the salesmen if he could do any better on the price and he explained the no haggle pricing. Turned out I got a good deal compared to other companies at the time and man oh man was that a good boat for me. I almost cried after I sold it and watched it driven off by someone else. Now my new boat is a Crestliner VT 18 which has pricing on their website but Whites Marine said they carry such high volume that they don't honor rebates bc the deal is usually better than advertised, and it was. Looks like Ranger is going to be sold more like Nitros and Trackers as far as pricing. I see the goal as more production plants and more dealers will ultimately drive costs down compared to the competition. Some think the quality of Ranger will suffer but I personally don't think it will nor do I think that's the goal. Also odd that Legend Boats is not sponsoring any Pros and the ones who were sponsored by them have switched to Nitro, Ranger, or Triton. Johnny Morris is just taking advantage of capitalism and creates a BUNCH of jobs so more power to him. What's up with this new bass boat company called VEXUS?...suppose to debut at the Bassmaster Classic?

It is crazy seeing them together. Heck Pro Choice in Warsaw has Triton glass and aluminum, Nitro and Tracker and Ranger glass and aluminum. Plus all the lines in pontoon boats.

Can't wait to see what Vexus boats look like and are priced at. Glass and aluminum line from the talk on Bassboatcentral. Lots of great people involved in the startup. So should be some great boats if we can afford them. Guess I will stick with the Ranger I have until after March before trading.

Size: 48.1 KBOk am I reading this right or am I going crazy. The new Cabela's catalog that I got today is advertising a Ranger Z520L 20' 9" 95 inch beam for $20,695 with a 75 horse four stroke. Are the really, I mean really advertising a 1,850 pound tournament rig with a 75 horse? Now I'd say who is gonna put a 75 horse on a 21 foot glass boat but I might buy. The Ranger website lists this boat with a 250 at $68,795 so the boat alone has gotta be at least 40k. I thought the buyout was gonna bring Ranger's prices down but I think this might have been overlooked, un-edited, completely non error checked for a nationally sent catalog

I seen that it has to be a misprint.
