When turning it real fast with the foot pedal it will sound like a Terrova. You hear that electric over cable kick in. When making small or slow adjustments in direction it's not really noticeable. It will hold better than the older Terrovas. I have the "boat scale" turned down on mine so it will not react as fast but keeps from it wanting to knock you off a balance that way. It will still hold a 5' pretty easy even in light winds. Where it shines is when you get a good steady wind like 5mph or more. Then it will hold you probably with in a 2' circle.

As far as the holding on your spot. The Ultrex is, what the Terrova was supposed to be.

Gotta get it on the water and do two complete circles while watching the screen on the remote to calibrate the direction sensor. Then we'll see how it does. Good I'm bettin'.

If it ever gets above 30 again I'll finish the direction sensor and get some pics. My thermometer still reads +1 right now. I'm thinkin' I'm back in Minisoda.
Still need to drop the deck off my Cub and put the snow blower on. Have not done that the past 2 years. Just in case.........
