    Default Deer hunting again

    For you deer hunters.
Doc finally gave me permission to go deer hunt last weekend. Wow what a week end.
I couldn't use a long gun, get in a stand, or go more than 100 yards into the woods.

    Here's my story.
I got to my hunting area and made myself comfortable on a nice soft lawn chair with my back pillow. Just as the sun came up a couple of doe came into range. They kept looking behind them. We all know what that means. Buck following them. I waited for about 20 minutes and finally he showed himself about 45 to 50 yards from me. Man oh man he was huge. The biggest buck I've ever seen. As he slowly closed the distance between us my heart was beating out of my chest. I just knew he was going to hear it. Head to ground, here he comes oblivious to everything but those 2 hot doe. 35 yards, 30 yards, 25 and at 20 yards I cocked my 44 Mag, took aim, and squeezed the trigger. Of all the times a person has to go pee. I just couldn't hold it any longer. Sooooo I woke up got out of bed, went to the bathroom.

LOL. This by the way isn’t original. I heard it else where and liked it.

Mac that just ain't right. I was all ready for the hero pics
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Me too and that is as close as I have gotten too, in my dreams as my hunting area has been devastated by disease. worse lost my private ground and having to go on public, ugh! was surrounded by idiots shooting literally anything they saw and in a time when they need to let does go to repopulate area. so just gave up and went crappie fishing and visiting with people. which isn't a bad alternative.
