Default Places to stay around Truman Lake

My company is planning to have a weekend get together sometime in April and I wanted to ask if there were any places you all would recommend staying at near Truman Lake. We would be down there on a Saturday and Sunday. I normally fish LOZ and am not familiar with the Truman area. This would be mainly hotels, lodge, etc instead of camping. Many thanks!
Thanks CrappieHead thanked you for this post

Bucksaw resort and marina. Cabins, kitchenettes in the water, bunk house and motel.

West bridge in Clinton is nice and the rates are reasonable, setting in one of their rooms right now.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

JR I thought I seen you out beside a truck and boat when I headed in to work this evening. I live a couple blocks east and north of there. Lots of the Crappie Masters teams stay there during tournaments. Great parking for boat and truck with out backing up.

I use Reel and Trigger mostly the last couple years. You better get on the move if you want to get a place this spring-places fill up fast.

You are aware that LOZ and Truman are only similar in that they are both lakes? Truman is a stump filled fish factory, and LOZ, while a fish factory, is basically a party with a lake. So if nightlife is important, you may want to stick with LOZ
