    Default Selling my boat

Just listed it in the classifieds and on the Missouri trader page. If anybody knows someone looking for a boat, its a good fishing boat and ready for the water.

Are you upgrading to another boat? Yours will make someone a great rig. i know a guy that is looking at the new RT178 and RT188. I think finances are heading him toward a 178 but buying used may get him in a 188. I will let him know about yours.

If I can get this one sold, I'll be ordering a rt198. I love the way these boats fish. Just want a bigger motor. Thanks for letting him know about mine.

I am in the same spot as you. Wanting to go to the RT198P myself. I am going to get with Pete and get out in one for a few hours. I am worried that with the pad hull that it will sit up higher in the front than our RT188's do. Which will let it blow around. My 188 with two guys sits super low and catches very little wind. Makes for a great boat for spidder rigging. I want the speed back that I lost by going metal from my Ranger 198VX with the 200 hp. But I won't if it cost me not being as stable or blowing around from sitting higher at the bow. Have you been out in one yet? They have several at Pro Choice marine in Warsaw right now.

Got my 188 sold the 31st and bought a 198 that afternoon to get in on the 10 year evinrude warranty promo. Took it out for the first time Sunday afternoon in the hurricane force winds. WOW what a difference in performance. Hole shot was good with my 188, but it's almost instant with this one. With me at about 240 and empty boxes on the front deck, I'd guess the front sits 6-7"'s higher than my 188 did. Top speed had to be pushing 60. Don't have the graphs mounted yet. The

Congrats on the new rig. It has to be impressive with he 150 HP on it. I had my RT188 out on Lake Fork all last weeks and weekend in some brutal conditions. Very impressed with how it handled the rough conditions. Rough enough on run back to weigh in that I broke my dual BBT mount at the dash. 3' waves about 20' apart for several miles. Never once felt unsafe in it.

I treated myself the other day and went and drooled all over a 198. They are awesome. After that reality set in and I realized I will have to make due with what I have for a long time. Anyways congrats on the purchase and I hope you have alot of fun with it.
