Default Not one for the record books, but

About 9:30 Saturday morning Wyatt put down a small button buck. From the excitement in him you would have thought it was a deer of a lifetime. He right away asked if we could make sausage out of it. So sausage it is.

    Way to go Wyatt
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

That feeling is something a lot of people lose when they get older. I promise you if I killed the biggest deer in the county this year I would not be as excited as the first small deer I ever shot.

It's a special time for a young man ,cherish it all, make some sausage, buy some crackers and mustard....and keep uh huntin'.
