    Default Attacked by paddle fish

So Jim and I are fishing in the dead water below Truman Sat. get tired of dink dink and more dinks. Head downstream to check another area. Boat cruising along just as we get to Drake Harbor out of the water comes a paddle fish flies along the trolling motor right down the passenger side of the boat into my hand/arm that is holding onto the edge of the boat. Dang that hurt and slimed me up real good too. Glad all I got was a jammed thumb. Oh and a laughing boat captain. Missed another home video moment. Oh well memories last awhile. Course the memories are starting to come and go.

    Flying spoonbill...................
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Down on the Tennessee River I have seen them jump straight up and do a spin or two like a dolphin does.It ain't often but I have seen it quite a few times over a lot of years. And on the Mississippi you will see catfish jump once in awhile. They don't put much air between them and the water, but I have seen Spoonbill jump pretty darn high.
