    Default The Break In

Well Friday I finally got my new boat on the lake and did the initial two hour break in. I have to say I was very impressed with everything. The boat ran good, got on plane quick, and handled decent chop easy. The hull is more flat than my old Tracker so it did not handle waves and rough chop as well but I expected that. The Merc 115 Pro XS is plenty of horse power, burned little gas, and had a great response from the throttle. After the break in I trolled cranks for a little bit and picked up a few. Really, and I mean really liked the Fortrex and Sure Mount gunnel system combined with my new Cumberland Crappie 360 Rod Holders. The boat has a very stable platform with hardly any wobble when walking around. Took my family out today for some fun and even the wife was impressed which says something.

Can't beat a day like that with the family. I think that there might me a night fish trip coming up in the future.
