    Default Trolling rod and reels

I plan to try pulling cranks this fall.
What are the better rod & reels.
    What line? Braided line? Weight?
Should the reels have a line counter?

I need your help to get me started on the right foot.

    Thank you.

For reels , https://northwoodsoutlet.com/product...trolling-reel/ , for rods we use 12foot a 9 ft. And a 6 ft. To keep everything spread out

Did you get the 15 or 20 series reels?

20's hold more line. We use 12lb suffix siege

Exactly!!! I use B&M PST's for pulling cranks. If I'm running planer boards (which is most of the time), I buy Diawa downrigger rods from Wally World.
