    Default Got lucky!


    Went down to get some breakfast sausage out of the deep freeze to make the kids some B’s & G’s opened the lid and knew by the smell I’d better head to McDonald’s. The luck part came because I usually have quite a bit of crappie in it but it was a barren as Joedog’s vast wasteland of a crappie freezer. The little bit of fish I had was upstairs safe and sound. Lost some deer meat, some darn good breakfast sausage and some other minor stuff but could have been a lot worse.

    Sorry to hear about your freezer. I had the same thing happen a few years ago. Now I keep my freezer in my garage so if it goes out, I'll notice it sooner.

    Went through that last year, but not as lucky as you. Lost a lot of stuff, and nearly my lunch during the clean-out

    I got room in my vast wasteland, if you need to store some stuff over here in the meanwhile.

    Can't promise it will still be there when you come back to get it, though.

    Note to self, Joe....help me remember to NOT eat Bill's breakfast sausage he brings to crappie camp next year! You know, the kind with the extra "seasoning" that amazingly looks like green ooz!!!!!!!
