Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about camp grounds around Osage bluffs or the pomme arms...thinking about labor day weekend

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Wish I could help you out but have only used the COE campgrounds by bucksaw. I'm guessing you would be ok with other COE grounds around the lake. Fishing on holiday weekend just makes you grateful for non holiday weekends. If you stay away from the main lake ramps it's not that bad.

Osage Bluff campground is nice. There is also a motel right there too.

I like the COE campgrounds at Osage Bluff, they keep them clean and well run. I do have a problem with staying at the Marina Motel. I have been there before and they are partying very loudly at the motel until early morning hours. Loud enough to be heard at the campground but not loud enough to keep you awake. Nice cleaning stations at the marina, short drive to town, easy access to the other side of the lake if you want and a "quiet" side of the lake on holidays.
