Great Time!
Had a great time this past weekend. Thanks everyone who participated in the Clifford Shanks Big Crappie Tournament on Friday. We raised over 400 bucks for the Leukemia Foundation! Hope to see everyone next year!

I second that. We actually have $470 to donate to LLS. Both winners donated back their winnings. Thanks a million! I will post tournament results later this afternoon on this same thread. If there is a heaven....and I do believe there is, being on the lake first thing in the morning has to be pretty darn close!

Oh I think he was there...I was sure thinking about him too. Especially sitting around talking with Harold. I meant to ask him if you all went to the marina to put a hurt on the shrimp dinners or not! He and your Dad had the waitresses marveling at their shrimp intake a couple years back!
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!

I will second what all the other guys have said. It was great to meet you all and we were very glad to have all you at camp. I bet we can grow the tournament next year and raise even more money for a great cause. Thanks for coming and sharing your stories about your dad with us and letting us share some of our stories with you guys.

The winner of the tournament, with a 1 lbs. 10 oz. crappie, was Jason Meachum. Second Prize was Rick Thompson, with a 1 lbs. 6 oz. crappie.
We donated $470 to LLS last night in memory of Clifford Shanks in the name of MO crappie.com. Thank you to everyone that participated. My family plans to make it an annual event. I will post a picture of the thank you that we get back from LLS when it arrives. Again thank you all. Dad always spoke of crappie camp and the guys that he met every trip. He logged into the website everyday he was in the hospital to hear from friends and check his PM's. Fishing has a big part of his life. Thanks again for the donations and support for a great cause! We miss him LOTS!
