Thread: down and side imaging help.

I will tell you that you will be totally amazed at what those units can do. There is a good bit of learning to do. I have only had the Sidescan for about a year and I am still in the learning curve. I need to get out and spend more time just learning the units.
There are some decent videos on you tube if you get time to search Lowrance HDS and sidescan.

Jared gave a great tip a while back. He would practice by working small creeks. That way you have a good idea what you are looking at and running the boat is a little easier. I'm still learning but that really helped. Don't be afraid to leave the rods at home so you aren't tempted to do what you already know. I know I tend to go back to 2d because that is my comfort zone.
