    Default Powerdrive v2

I am trying to decide if Iwant to purchase this trolling motor. I have read a lot of bad reviews about the deploy and stow as well as the foot pedal. I would probably purchase the co pilot accessory to go with it. I fish at truman mainly and do a lot of jigging trees in the summer, my main concern is that the electric turning motor would not be as quick of a response as I need to keep me in place. Anyone with this motor have any insight?

I don't have the powerdrive, but I have the ipilot terrova and love it. I have the foot pedal but most of the time I use the remote and fine it easier. with the ipilot the foot pedal can be used just like a standard foot controlled or like the power drive foot pedal. the response is not a quick as a standard foot control but I find it not a problem. I mainly spider rig, but when I dip trees it works well for me too.
    hope that helps a little.

Dlogfish, that is just what I have in 55lb. Deploy and stow could be better and the foot pedal went on mine but I bought the co-pilot just as you said. Works fine for me actually better and quicker than the foot pedal.
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday
