Default Last deer as a teenager

Well, I ain't had a fishing story to tell for about 6 months cause that's how long its been since we been fishing........but, thought that I would share a quick pic of our other passion in life......hunting. Junior got this one on sunday morning........he will leave his teen years behind in December so i guess maybe this is his last one as a "kid". Was a fun weekend, and cold........deer were moving real well. Good luck to all.....and be safe out there.

We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

    Congrats. Nice buck
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Congrats on the deer. Been wondering if you sold the boat and gave up fishing since we have not heard from you in awhile.

Hey there Mark. I tell ya, it feels like I am boatless as little as we got out this year........been re-landscaping the whole house for the past couple of years and finally ALMOST got everything done. Retaining walls (plural), brick patios (plural), lower addition to the existing deck, regrading for drainage.......ugh, bout got me wore completely out. Plan to ramp up the fishing this winter again if the weather cooperates..........been missing it a lot, enough of this manual labor stuff.......I need to be fishing more. I did notice you got a new boat.......man, what a beauty.........I know you are enjoying that.

    Good fishing to you!
