Default Busted on pomme de terre

Got busted for the lowlife criminal that I am!!!!
took the family to pomme on Saturday for some tubing and boat riding, launched two boats with three kids two dogs and a couple of non boating helpers fiasco deluxe in the making!!!! Somehow we forgot to buy the day pass for one of the trucks and viola I get a nice little ticket from park ranger Jared ,,,,,,,, now mind you, I am in possession of a $130 pass to a little corp of engineers lake known as "Smithville" some of you may have heard of it......... This is apparently not viable in good ole hickory county..... Smithville is owned by the COE but operated by clay county so you'll have to pay the "MAN" again......... And again...... And again.......
oh, and did I mention the guy who designed those ramps with the concrete dividers going into the water should be there to back people's boats in fer em!!!!! Name: image.jpg

Yikess got one of those "Good Parking Awards" last year at Sardis. He had his annual hang tag on the mirror but he parked in Mr. Green Jeans parking spot. Said he didn't see the sign.

I do agree with them helping backing trailers between them darned "retaining walls" on the ramps. I usually can manage to get the trailer backed in. Waiting on others that can't can be very frustrating.

The worst problem I have is tripping over them and falling down or ankle sprains when you get out of your truck or walk around the boat and forget they are there.

I would like to let whoever designed those danged things they are dangerous.

We got stuck with those type of ramps from the construction of the lake, obviously designed by someone who didn't launch a boat. Anyone remember when they were just random rockfill in the middle, at least now they are concreted. Honestly I am so used to them, I don't even notice anymore, sure are a lot of folks who run over them though.
