Default Help finding a boat for a young fisherman.

I have a student in my wildlife class that is wanting to get into crappie fishing. He has about $2500 to work with and I've been on the look out for a good used tracker, lowe style aluminum boat with a 25 to 40hp motor. Anyway If any of you have seen something like this in your area that you think is a good deal please send me a p.m.

    Thanks

I am always looking for boats for local guys and will keep an eye out for something. Should be able to get into a decent little boat for that money. Heck my first glass boat only cost me $3500. Ran that sucker for several years with zero issues.

    Try Craigslist http://springfield.craigslist.org/boo/
I tried looking at various marinas around there but too many new boat only. In my area, I know of several dealers with ready to go used boat motor trailer combos between 1000 - 2000

There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion.
