how did it go for ice

did anyone get the bad ice the weathermen/women were saying we were going to get, we got a skiff of snow, no ice,no sleet, just snowing a bit now........ woo hoo glad they were wrong this time, usually mad at the weather people, not this time ........... spring got to be here soon.

it started as freezing rain here last night and is still sleeting. Roads are a mess.

Slight layer of ice/sleet, then some snow, then about 1/2 inch of sleet, then about 2" of snow. I treated the drive last night before it started, it popped right up and the snow thrower took care of the rest.

Little skim of sleet covered by skim of ice. Then maybe 3/4 in snow. But roads are not good.

1/2 inch of sleet with maybe 1/2 inch of snow on top. Roads a mess. No school. We're the snow is on top of the hard shell of sleet it isn't to bad for walking but were the snow blew off of the hard shell of sleet it is really slick. That sleet froze into a hard shell. But by Friday suppose to be 52.
