Thread: Contest: The Border War (Mississippi-vs-Missouri)

If there's a 50/50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% chance I'm going to get it wrong.

Well, it wouldn't have been *my* favorite, but I can't hardly argue much with my wife and daughter when they get to teaming up. I thought there were lots of words of wisdom to be shared here, and hopefully we all learned a few new ones.

But...as stated in the rules, they were to decide, and I was to stay out of it, and in a 2-1 vote (my son was outnumbered by the girls) they liked:

"Prettier than a speckled pup in a red wagon." by mississippi of (as you can probably guess) the Mississippi forum. Congrats, sir. PM me your info and I'll get you your gift card.

They liked it for its originality (they never heard that one before) and the fact that it was "cute". :rolleyes: Guess all the pee and poop and fart ones just didn't hold up. I probably shoulda thought of that beforehand and weighted the scales accordingly!

Anyway, thanks everyone, for playing along. $100 goes to slab on behalf of the Mississippi board. (As much as it pains me to do it!!) Fair is fair.
