    Default Spring Camp Rumor


    I heard rumor in the parking lot this week about some kind of spring time crappie fishing camp at Bucksaw the first week/weekend of May. They said it is a good time and the weather always cooperates and the fishing is great. What's everyone's thoughts on that weekend? Same as last year and we will hope it does not snow on us again. We have made it through tornado warning's, high winds, lightning, rain, sleet and snow. About all that is left would be a earthquake. I think we can make it through one of those and still have a great time as always. Thoughts???

    Heck if we can make it through last year we can make anything work. Still say ya cant beat fresh Morels picked in the snow with fresh Crappie for dinner. Dexter will have to buy a new tent though
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Showers are open mid April so Joe will be able to try round two. Gordon I believe that is what they were thinking. So like last year it will be last week of April and first weekend in May.
