    Default Many thanks twain gang

Had a great time meeting and talking with you all. I am sure with a little more rain the fishing would have improved. Great job southpoint, cschottfish, catman, everyone made the weekend enjoyable for all what a great bunch of folks. We really enjoyed ourselves hope everyone made it home and route U. I look forward to learning my HDS 8 with your advice I know I will get back to the boatramp. Had a great time all I know there is several folks I did not mention and everyone was great. There was enough food to feed the state park just a great time thanks to all.

I didn't get a chance to meet or talk to everyone but my wife Linda, my grandson Andrew and I had a great time. Greg it was nice to bring your folks they were very nice to visit with and really appreciate their invite to use the cabin if the rain got worse. Also want to think kt's wife and the others for there very good deserts and fresh fruit, it was great.I know I didn't include everyone so thank you too (mark). The conditions were pretty bad with the rain, lightning, and high winds but still a fun weekend. Thanks guys.

one heck of a weekend, Huh? seems like mother nature hates crappie camps this year! but we all got home safely and are mostly unpacked. seems like I came home with more than I left with! sure wish the fishin was better but I guess the bad weather gave us more time to BS and just be lazy! still, it was great to meet everyone, hopefully it'll work out a little better next time! thanks to all who showed up and helped out!

HEY RT U..... how did the tent party go???

Barb and I and Dale and Nancy all had a great time. Thanks Greg & Jenn and Robbie for setting everything up and letting us all use your campsite to gather. Barb commented when we got home that it was so nice to just get to set and have the "young people" do all the work. Too bad the weather and fishing wasn't better but still a good time. Glad we got to put faces with so many names. Let's do it again.

Boys, boys, boys............. As I mentioned in the Camp thread, the drive home was quite a light show, so glad it missed us. I arrived home to a full house and awaited my instructions. Luckily someone had given it some thought and was decided that an early AM tent set-up was a better idea.........'twas a $h*tshow, but we got'r done! Luckily there was a beer wagon already there, so that helped..... and of course, it didn't rain before, during or after the reception.

Guess things worked out for the best as the fishing wasn't all that great but I was really looking forward to 48 hours around a campfire teachin ol ripnlips how to operate his new toy!

It was great meeting you all and I look forward to many gatherings in the near future!

We had a really good time with every one on Friday and Saturday evening a big thank you to South Point and his wife for having us over and letting E play and hang out. Route U thank you for driving down and to bs and bring wood that duck and goose sausage was good with a cold one. Hope to see everyone there next year it was a good time at the Mark twain mud bash.
