    Default Mole trap line set.

My mom has moles bad and always has had them. Probably because her yard is surrounded by fields. Tried spreading the stuff on her yard but that really didn't work very good. So a few years ago I bought 4 mole traps and set our trap lines in her yard. Set 4 traps this morning and went into the house to put up some papers and came back out and 1 trap was tripped. Used my foot and pushed down on the prong plate. Got the hoe and dug around trap and yep had my first mole of the year. I figure when they are dead they are for sure gone. Last with the dry weather they weren't a problem.

Got one in my backyard two days ago. Sounds like we have the same kind of traps.

Nothing will eat them. Cats turn there nose up at them. They will kill them and play with them but not eat them. That fur/hair is really thick. I always bury them in the run they came out of.

I just killed one this morning out in the yard, I kinda snuck up on him.....lol I seen the ground rising and followed him and got him with a shovel... probably Luck, but the only good mole is a dead one. (IMO)

dang moles! I use traps as well and kill some that way every year, but by far the most productive way to get em is to stomp down all their runs and then keep an eye on the area every hour or so. when you see a fresh run, just stand back and watch with a shovel in your hand.. I get most of em around noontime but early and late in the day is a good time, too.
