Lowrance Elite 7 HDI
Just purchased Lowrance 7 Elite HDI, was wondering if anyone might know something about it? Bought Fishing Hot Spots Pro Map to go with, can't get it to work? Do you have to be on a lake to have it work? Not real good to start with trying electronic's. Need Help

I bought one about a month ago and love it too. Min works just fine in the garage, so you do not have to be on the lake.

the old ones have a selection prompt. it was in settings, maybe that is all you need to do. sometimes they will not work inside, need a good line of sight for the receiver in the unit to work, good luck, I sure hear lots of great reports on the 7

Bought the elite 7 about a month ago for the trolling motor and love it, but didn't put a map chip in it.

Called Lowrance, told me to zoom in to where I want to go then it will bring up map. By the way the zoom in and out is MOB buttons - +. Takes me awhile but I will finally get it. Now I need to get on the water and try it out. Used marine epoxy, took 3 hrs to setup, been 2 days now.
