Bob is gracious enough to lend the guy one of his new 10 footers which he drops repeatedly on the side of the boat. I'm secretly waiting for Bob to "accidently" drop this guy overboard, but it does not happen; a testament to his patience. He also brought a cooler to take his fish home in which he leaves in the bed of the truck. On the way home, first time I hit the brakes the cooler slides forward and crushes my new 9ft rod. I believe I made it back to Liberty in about 20 minutes from Truman, an all time speed record untouched to this day. Before leaving for work each day I cruise the parking lot where I picked him up hoping to see him just so I can run him over. Mind you, I have fished with Slabs running mate Tom Tom and would have rather had a 15 no, 18 inch crochet needle run thru my eye, but this guy topped that. True story.
