[QUOTE=cschottfish;2324399]I'm off Wed - Sunday thinking of bringing the whole shooting match dipping, trolling, crankin and catfish rods. To say fishing will be interesting could be a huge understatement. Thank goodness for good company cold beer and strong drinks.[/QUOTE
You can bet the farm I'll have some meat hunters and a throw net with me as well! gonna spend at least an afternoon or two drifting for blues. for crappies I have no clue what to expect. normally this time of year I would already be trolling cranks and dipping deeper timber but with the late spring we're having, I'm wondering if we won't find some fish on the banks still...

Planning on FINALLY getting the boat wet again this Saturday, so I'll let you guys know what's going on. From what I've seen, heard and experienced, they aren't on the banks yet and don't expect them to be until this lake of ours settles down. One thing for sure, when they go, it's going to GO! In my opinion, this will only help us in the next few years of fishing, so don't get too disappointed, but I think there will be fish to be caught shortly.

Let's hope for once we can dodge this next round of storms.....

I think camp week could be hot it has been dead up there so far. With all this high water it could be a lot of fun, let's hope they don't blow a foot or more a day that week.

just a little bump... been quiet here lately. I need to figure out how many burgers/dogs/brats I need to bring. looks like catman, N2 and cschottfish are also bringing some grillables. how much do you guys plan on bringing, and about how many mouths should we expect total? I have 5 total in my group...
