I'm interested in it. I was just talking to N2CRAPPIE that there should be weekend camp out up there.
Rt U (Robbie) and myself have talked about getting together a get together for a while now, maybe a little tourney and some camping... but we always bring it up when its really too late to make plans. I been reading a few posts, past and present, and it seems a few of us are interested. sooo, what kind of idears do ya'all have? lets hear it, Twainers!

I'm not a Twainer.....never been to the lake before......but it is a lake that I have always wanted to fish, so we would be interested. Keep everyone posted.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
I'm in on that.
Balzout Mounts
sounds great to have a twain crappie camp, fisfroper mentioned it to me not long ago so i know him and nemo would be interested also.
i would be in as well keep updated
Sounds cool if I could swing it
got a couple operations comming up in feb, march, if it works out I will come up and dazzle all y'all with my massive fishing abilities.
I must say, this sounds promising! ok, so lets start talking when and where... do you guy's want to try to cram this into the time frame of the spawn, or maybe wait a couple of weeks but still try to beat the memorial day crowd? heck I'd be fine with memorial day weekend cause I'll be there anyhow! but I know some of ya will probably have other holiday plans. I'd even be fine with an early summer camp, if its easier for everyone else to make plans to be there.
and then there's where to camp. the easiest 2 campgrounds to use would be either Ray Behren's, favoring the lower end of the lake, or the state park on Hwy 107, which located more mid lake but favoring the upper end. I couldn't say which is better, they both have nice facilities and fish cleaning stations. RB has a marina and a better (busier) ramp, but I think there are more ramps to choose from when you camp in a state park. alll I know is where ever I camp, the best bite is always on the other end of the lake... maybe some advise on how ya'all plan the truman gatherings?
