Got my vacation turned in and approved for the whole week. Can't wait. I guess when Gordon our camp host figures out who's tent he is staying in we can start planning the important stuff

Suite to be reserved at the RESORT tomorrow. Name/numbers of good caterers would be ap'er'see'at'd. Are stripper poles allowed in Sec 8... I mean. A camp?

Need a head count of how many therapist we need on hand for the wimmen and kid folk.

Speakers on special subjeks like Skin Cancer Awareness, Ways to Conserve Family Finance while spending time in Everharts, Ligit Ways to Spend Time Fishing Without Guilt, AA, AAA, AARP, BBC, ATF, CDC, PADI, SSI, The Tequila Assoc of NA, etc. other suggestions will be entertained. Pictures of speakers will determine placement in schedule.

All right we are set now with a new fearless leader. Looks like Buckwheat and I can sit back and and enjoy the show. Can't wait for this one. We will figure out a menu when we get closer but sure like the way we kept it a little more simple at fall camp other than all the hard work and time Buckwheat put into the cooking he did. But atleast the grill/smoker was not as time consuming as the fish fry. If we do the fishfry this year we will be doing it like we use to and have several guys bring cookers and spread out the work a little more instead of Brain and his crew slaving for seveeral hours and not being able to enjoy themselves on the final evening of camp. If anyone has any thoughts for something different for a Friday or Saturday night meal forward them to the new camp host. Or post them here.

However, I do agree. Simple is better for everyone. I've been involved in motorcycle gatherings and boyscouts. The more you try to "do for others" the more the few get abused/used.

Like I said above, I was PUI last night. I don't know enough about you guys and what you'd expect to "lead" anything anywhere. Being self employed I do have the luxury of time off so what ever whomever needs to make this thing a success, I'm in.

Just giving you a hard time about being host. We will get some list together later for food and supplies and go from there. Can't wait. The camps are my favorite two weeks of the year. Always great getting to see everyone and hang out around the fire. Hopefully I will be settled into my new career by then and have more time to get things ready with out having to worry about vacation time.

So are we still wanting to buy a tent for these camps?
