I hope they don't cover up the wolf part, sure does not look like a coyote. and besides they say we dont have any wolfs here in MO. so how can it be a cross breed.... big dog no matter what.

Hard to tell from one photo but looks more like a coyote/dog cross, wolves don't normally mate with coyotes they will happily kill them but not mate. The head looks a LOT like a german shepard or husky, hence I am thinking coydog. Hopefully we will find out what it is.

My dad killed a mix about 20 years ago in Alabama where he lives. That thing was twice as big as a coyote and he hide was much thicker. He had a state biologist come take a look and they said it was more than likely a hybrid (not sure what hybrid-coydog or dog wolf). Not sure if they took samples or not but it sure was something.
