    Nice
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

It's the .22 LR version, Lenny. I got it's bigger brother, a .223, for Christmas last year. I love shooting them both but the .223 is just a bit too costly to punch a lot of holes in paper.

What upper and lower do you plan on using?

I hear you on the ammo. Brother in law has built a couple so really letting him help me. Daniel Defense,Vltor or Rock River will probably end up the winners. Still researching triggers and custom barrels. Got my new Midway catalog last week, like Christmas shopping.

I have a Smith & Wesson M&P 15. Been thinkin about buying one of those slide stocks for it, they allow them to bump fire almost as fast as full auto! They are really cool, but talk about goin thru the ammo!! And the price of .223 seems like it goes up everyday.

Those are all good choices. Be careful with that catalog, custom rifle building is addictive.

Hope it's ok if I drink a beer and leave the smoking to you, Joe.

The bump-fire stocks are pretty cool but at $300-$400, I would rather buy another family member.......if you know what I mean.
