Default Two boys and a Beaver

Found a place last weekend that beaver were working so last night we made our first ever sets for Beaver. I have to admit I was a little nervous setting 330's as they can break your arm if you mess up. When we ran them this aftertoon we had this 48lb beaver in our first set. Also had a 20lb beaver at second set. Boys were pumped and are bit hard by the trapping bug. It doesn't take much for a 8 and 4 year old to have fun but they love to hunt, fish and trap.

Good job keeping them into the outdoors and trapping not too many into it anymore. Do you pelt out and stretch your hides or just skin and freeze?

They look happy with the catch! No better way to get them involved and teach them conservation, plus the bonus of getting out and spending time with them. Way to go!
