She lives in Montana now. Put her on ADV's "for sale site" and she sold quicker than I thought. He flew in, I rode it to KCI, he rode off into the night.

My biggest joy, riding with my son. Colorado, 60-70 mph on gravel, one handed, taking pictures of him in the mirror. I can sleep on a bike.

Awesome pics. I got an R1150r and an old slash 2.

I love riding but I just can't do those long distances. What's the opposite of iron butt.

I had an f650gs that felt like a dirt bike on the street. Too easy to get dangerous.

And I know that site. It's monster big.

Sorry for this thread, fellas. Too much long island ice tea last night. Ugh!

F650's were fun. The wife had one, I loved wringing it's neck.

Terlingua, TX! Ida bet good money that I was the only MoCDC'er that had ever been there. Worked down there in Big Bend NP prolly 18 or 19 years ago. Hottest place I ever been........ no kidding 115+ degrees during the day when we were there. That area up around Chisos Basin was nice. You ever eat at that Mexican joint that was kind of undergound (not really underground, more like an earth contact place where the restaraunt was mostly underground)? Have no idea what the name was, or if it is even still there, but maybe the best mexican chow I ever had........ had to have been good if I still remember it almost 20 years later.

Thanks for the pics........sure looks like fun times.

Most people have no clue TX has topography like that.

A cool night shot. I loved sleeping in the desert. Everything sticks or smells. That green plant is a cresote bush. Grab the green stuff, smash, and you have the smell of a rail road tie.
