I guess if you going to steal something catalytic converters would be better than live power lines like they were trying to steal last week in KC!

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw

Ok maybe I am kind of dumb here and normally that is the case! But are used catalytic converters worth that much?

Not dumb to ask. They will bring big money at the scrappers.Been going on a long time. They even been cutting them off cars at the dealers. They can get upwards of 75-175 dollars apiece for them. Low lifes need to get a job before someone puts a hole in them.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Well I know it can be done fast with a 19.2 volt Reciprocating Saw. I was in the Hale Store in North Souix City, SD last year and they didn't send me up with all the keys I needed. You know those high dollar round semi trailer pad locks that they say you can't cut thru? I was able to cut thru them in about 10 minutes with my 19.2 Reciprocating saw.

Thanks Hogster1 wow I sure didn't think they were worth that much! I had heard air bags were worth alot of money.

Yeah if it was Mississippi or Louisiana and you found someone messing with your truck or car you could just shoot them even if you didn't have a CCW permit. But in our great state of Missouri if you have a CCW permit you have to let them go. You can't be the one who introduces deadly force first.
