nam, where in mo are you? if you like music you and your wife would love mt. view, ark.

    http://www.ozarkgetaways.com/index.html

or you can google mt. view, ark. i know it's hot now and the music "around the square" will probably be starting near sundown because of the heat but they will play late. people from all over the u.s. come there just to play music with others around the square and there are several regular shows in the area too. it's the folk music capitol of the world. the musical ability of the people will amaze you. i think the pop of mt. view is less than 3000 but at bean fest it swells to over 50,000 people.

We live in Seneca, in the southwest corner of Newton County.
As to converting the YouTube to an MP3, it is pretty easy.
If you have some YouTube sites of music you'd like put on a CD, let me know, and I'd be glad to
convert them, and put them on a CD for you.
    Let me know!

And the same goes for anyone here on the Missouri Board too!!

nam, i don't have any music off the internet. with all the news about it being again the law i never did even try to download any. i do mess with the fiddle a little. i watched men and women and childred playing a fiddle up at mt. view and decided i'd like to try it. i'm bad at best but enjoy messing with it. i did get a recorder at walmart that i could record songs and if i knew how it would convert it to a cd through the puter. my son from indiana came down and finally figured out how to do it but it looked like and was way too much for me to learn to do it. surprisingly the sound came out good on the cd. i wish i could say the same about my playing.

This music that is "converted from a YouTube video is perfectly legal as far as I know, and what the conversion software says.
Either way, it is good to meet you, and hopefully, we will be able to meet one day.
If I can be of help with the music, let me know.

i'm sure it is nam. i misunderstood you at first. don't know why though. it's all this hi tech stuff i don't understand. when my son was here and figured out how to get the cd burned from the recorder i took down a page of steps to take so i might be able to do it. so far i haven't gotten up the nerve to try it.

The two Conway Twitty songs are good ol' belly rubbing music where ya can get
"up close & personal" with your dance partner.

Boy wouldn't that be a party for sure! But I don't think Mitch would like it very much to see $250,000.00 worth of retail fireworks going up in smoke!
