Attack of the cicadas
Has anybody else had a problem with them while mowing. Mowed my mom's yard this morning and they attacked me and the mower. Had 1 hand on the wheel and the other flailing around in the air. STUPID things.

Had a buddy tell me when he mowed this past weekend he was fine till he got out the weed eater then they swarmed him.Said they were all over him and he threw the weedeater and headed for the hills.LOL said they attacked him again later when he was using the leaf blower.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I think it is a specific sound they go far. They didn't bother me when I was using our mower to mow our grass. They just attacked while using my mom's mower. Stupid bugs. I did catch a small channel cat on a cicada over the weekend. Had it under a bobber looking for bass or crappie. That was the only fish I caught over the weekend. Catching around here wasn't good.
