The last time I was at Cables I was trying to buy a new reel & couldnt find anyone to help us. So went wondering around the store & came back to the reel department & same as before. I decided that they had hired Bass Pro folks. I was in B/P here in Spfd last Thrusday 7 pm not busy at all & one guy in the reel dept & he was busy talking to some gut about hunting & I stood around for 10 min & said the hell with it. Went to Everharts & bought 1 real there & went to C Store in tightwad & bought rod & reel there. Those two places knows what customer service is. Also dont waste your time in the LITTLE tackle store on S campbell in Spfd either. If your not a buddy of the owner or bass fishing they wont even talk to you.

The thing is when you hire someone that knows nothing about the outdoors dont expect them to no anything about the outdoors.
Bob I like the new you. I think the go-t brought on the change

On the bottom of your Cabela's receipt they have an online survey.Fill it out and let them know what a crappy experience you add including the as-ho-- in Archery. This will get their attention.I worked at the store in Hazelwood for a little while and if something like this happened to you they would tell us about it. I'm sure they would know who was working in Archery and would have a nice talk to him as well. At least that's how my store would have worked it. You may even get a gift card,I've seen that happen with unhappy customers. They want your business and would jump through hoops to keep it.

I've always had great experiences with Cabela's, but it has always been mail order, phone order or computer order. I do know from an article in Barron's a few weeks ago that their new CEO has improving their stores as a high priority, so there must be some problem.
