    Default Las Vegas

Sucks, and so does Grand Junction CO and so does Limon CO and so does KS especialy Salina KS and so does Kansas City KS/MO.
Nothing personal to anyone from these areas, just some bad experiences on the "Adventure" as U-hall tried to advertise.
All went well for the most part.
I learned how much octane levels make a difference on big gasoline engines, we stopped in Salina UT and got gas, and the truck wouldn't "go" like it did. I had to give it gas to accelerate down hill Thats when Erin told me he put 85 in it, at first I thought he meant E85 and then he said 85 Octane, bad part was we were going through 110 mi. of NO Services, not a sign of man except the road, wait it gets funner, it was very curvy and UP, then of course very down and curvy.
I could go on for like a DMW post on this so I will leave the questions to you folks if you really "gottta Know"..
Marshall RULES I couldn't have been more happy to get home and see our dogs.
Erin and I raised a fist and said "Whooo Hooo" as we went under the sign saying "Welcome to Missouri"
I got to sport the MO CDC tee shirt in Nevada and Utah too !

Good to be home. Glad you made it back safe and none the worse for wear. Get a fishing pole in your hand and put it all behind you.

    Welcome back!

I'm trying to!!, I hardly had the energy to "voluntarily" work today, and when I got home, the stupid weather wouldn't let me.
But glad to be back Joe.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw

Yea it is, when I was 17 I watched my Mom and youngest brother drive one off a cliff . they walked away but we got to sit on the side of the highway and watch everything we own burn.
So I don't trust them for that, but when you drive that thing through the Rockie Mtns. with a squeaking break and LOADED I don't trust them (just sayin')
I could say more, you all can ask if you want more.

Sounds like a good story for when we're out fishin' someday...or around the fire at Crappie Camp!

Your right, it was intriguing to see that flat land and see miles and miles of nothing, a nice change from driving in Vegas and Denver. The other "good" part was we were sick of the mountains and hills in that truck and appreciated the MPH.

Not that I really "hate" these parts of the country, it's just when I got the most frustrated as our stress levels were rising.
Stopped for the night in Grand Junction and just wanted to get a six pack of beer, first store didn't sell it, the guy said "so and so" place might but their probably closed, it was 11:00 pm, I said "ain't it Saturday night???
Well they did, only stupid 3.2% beer
Limon, we had to stop for gas and the 2 outfits that had gas and something to drink were outrageously high price almost $3 for a 6 lb bag of ice
Salina, same as Grand Junction but that stupid county didn't sell on Sundays. Just plain stupid.
So nothing personal to anyone from there like I said..
