These things usually happen when someone comes on the site that either has a virus, or is loaded with malware, etc. The site has a "record" of their visit, but your antivirus, etc sees this and goes ape**** thinking you've been infected.......WRONG

As to the chicken little story about firefox, it's just that. I have been using Firefox for years and there arer no problems with it. AND IT ISN"T THE CAUSE OF this situation.
I agree with namgrunt totally. FF is typically not the problem. The bad guys are very creative these days placing their trojans, viruses, etc. I also highly recommend Malwarebytes. It finds and clears things that some of the others don't find.

I use Firefox as well it is so much faster than internet explorer. I use Norton 360 and it will block a site if it find something unsafe. This site still has the ok by Norton.

A lot of times if a person has gotten a key counter virus/malware, or one of the trackers that tells the host everywhere they've been and go to sites such as this, it leaves little "bugs" as I call them to try to get others also.

99% of the time these "bugs" can't do squat, BUT, your antivirus, or malware detector see's this and reports it as an infection.

Also there is the real chance of your antivirus/malware software reporting a FALSE POSITIVE. This is when there is absolutely no threat, BUT your antivirus/malware dector sees the configuration as a threat and sounds an alarm.

There are also some of these that don't interface well with some boards and also see it as a threat when there is none.

I'd suggest that the powers that be let SLAB know, so he can do a scan to insure there are no problems.

I am using Norton with the Pop Up Blocker on and I have not had any problems with this site. I had someone tell me that Norton was total junk the other day but I have never had any problems with it. I am using Windows 7.

I use Anti-Trojan Keyboard Condoms, keyed for your pleasure. I have never got a virus on this site. You can order them by calling 1-800-MMM-GOOD.
