    Revisited:

Over 200 snaps of the ball
    Over 100 passes thrown
    Over 1,000 yards of offense
    78 points
    15 penalties
    10 turnovers
8 stoppages of play by refs to review plays
That is NOT SEC football at it's finest!

    Twaingang and Bwillaub,

my oldest son has been accepted to Auburn and offered a 2/3rd Academic scholarship. I can't believe this old Florida Gator may have to start rooting for Auburn, well every now and then!

Congrats! AUBURN is a fine institution for academics. What is your son majoring in?

Congratulations for him! I loved the country down there and made some great friends my three years in grad school. I didn't have much money, but I had a blast without needing much. I floated many of those rivers with a canoe around the lower part of Alabama and part of Georgia. I didn't have the means or the time or boat to enjoy much of the big Alabama waters fishing, but I did fish Logan Martin when my brother came down to visit.

The school and athletics are pretty good down there too. The sweet southern women are not to go unnoticed either...

He's probably going to major in engineering. Either Mechanical or Chemical, but he want's to go to a large institution in case he finds something else he likes better. Interested in investing too. He's 18 and doing a pretty good job making money in the stock market. How many 18 year olds do you know with a stock trading account? He's been working since he was 14 and is very frugal with his money. Had quite a bit saved and decided to take some of it and see if he could make it work for him. He's much smarter at that age than I was and maybe smarter than me right now! Now he just needs to learn life's lessons and he'll be unstoppable.

AUBURN has one of the best Engineering programs in the country. Congrats again.
