    I think she will like it, 1. it will be "hers" 2. she has been wanting this one, in "this color" and it has a closed face reel 3. if it was on my wish list it would be a 10' ozark rod with and open face reel

    That's a nice gift, Rugs! I'm sure she'll be very pleased. I'm with you, though, I'd prefer the open face reel and I'm very happy with my 10' Ozark rods, too.
