It sure made a big differance. I never fished with just the original base. I could just tell that when it was installed with it that it was real weak and shaky. I could just see me snaging a tree and ripping it out and losing four rods.
Looks like a great set up Jared. Look forward to hearing how your first trip goes with them.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
jig clearly im doing something wrong on the pm, i was wondering where to get that top notch rig and price info thank you. Rob
I bought mjne from a CDC membor. You can get basic info and pricing from perottibilt.com. I believe bowdoctor is now a dealer. I took mine into Everhardt's this morning to show Steve and Jeff. They got the info from me to see about becoming a dealer also. Where are you located? I think Grizzley Jig in SE MO sells them also. Let me know where you are located and I will find you something close by. I could have sold mine in Everhardt's while I was in there shooting the s"$t this morning.
Those look identical to the ones I bought from Tony, except the rod holders are different. They are very sturdy. I would imagine Tony will try to talk you into the 14ft rods, like I bought. Make sure you get a floaty thing to tie onto your wrench, just in case it wants to go for a swim. They sure look good on the front of a Champion.

Fuzzy I can not wait for that. Whistler I think I will drill a hole in it and tie it to one of the holders like Drfishjd has his. The wrench is a cool tool. They would even work with the Driftmaster I sold.
