    Default Need help

Heading to Warsaw to visit my dad for the week of fathers day. Havent been down in over two years and never at this time of year. I will be pulling my boat to take him out fishing. Where will the crappie be? Shallow yet? Deep? Flats? Trees? What to use? Jigs? Slip bobber? Troll? Truman or Lake Ozarks? Any help is appreciated as I would like to make it a memorable trip for him and I. Thank You, Scott.

    Default Last Friday

    Scott,

First Off Welcome To The Board. Last Friday Wife And I Fished Out Of Bucksaw. Got Most Of Our Fish In 9 To 25 Fow Around The Brush Or Tops Of Trees. Some Of The Fish Would Grab My Jig Only A Foot Down In The Water. Others Were Deep. Wife Was Working Minnows And I Was Doing The Jig Thing. Wife Was Whipping My Butt When She Finally Got On Them.

Go Down And Read The Reports, Beagleman Was Up There Last Week And Several Others And There Are Alot Of Good Reports Listed.

There Are Alot Of Great People On This Board And They Will Help You Find A Good Fishing Spot To Take Dad.

Thank You everyone! I have only been to his home twice in the last 6 years. My work keeps me very busy. I have only fished the river and know nothing about Truman. Any help or insights are well recieved. Thanks again.

Welcome aboard, Scott. You should check here several times before that weekend. The bite may change between now and then. There are always fish to be caught. Some places get more productive as the water warms. Good luck to ya.
