we are heading to the LOZ wed the 22-25th looks like great weather and just about perfect timing. It has been a couple of years since we have hit it just right. Hope this is an UP year.

We always have fun anyways. We are traveling in from OH. Give me a tip on color of jig.

I have some yums wooly beavertails in pumpkin left over

We fished from about 7 to 2 saturday. Fished mainly Snake cove and a few other coves. Water was murky/stained. Found temperatures anywhere from the mid 50's to low 60's. Fishing wasn't that good. Only had about 10 keepers between 3 of us. Seemed to be hitting on chartruese/red and chartruese/black, didn't have the opportunity to buy any minnows. Caught the most short fish i ever have in my life. Most of the fish came off the ends of docks. Probably about 20 to 30 feet of water about 10 feet down. Caught one nice black crappie up on the bank, but that was it. Also landed a nice 5lb bass (released). Most of the other boats were down on the lower end of the lake pb2 and cauffman beach. Water was clear their and they seemed to do well. Winning tab was 15 that weighed 18+pounds. Hope to be back next weekend to try again.

    we fished sat and sun

    here are a few pics

Friday at about 10 or 11 pm.....threw everything at em.....every color of slab buster i had. Finally pulled out the berkely gulp alive 3" minnows and BAM!!! nailed two of em withing minutes.....but that was it

Saturday, once again the slab busters were not producing, but the berkley gulp alive was!!!!

Sunday....this one was 14 3/4 inches!!!!!! we only caught 2 keepers under 11" the other 8 keepers were all 12" and the big momma. They were about half males half females......FINALLY the slab busters worked.....once again tried every color, finally got the big momma to hit on an all white slab buster. Then proceeded to catch 4 more keepers all on white.....

two weekends ago the egg sacs were small, the females i cleaned on sunday had HUGE egg sacs!!!!

you guys that are heading down this weekend are going to hit it PERFECT!!!

All 10 keepers were caught off our dock in 6 - 15 feet of water,

the barometric pressure was all over the place all weekend. Rising, falling, holding, rising, falling, rising, etc etc

    good luck!
