I'm no expert but if I were to tie 10' of line to a cane pole and fish with nothing else always I could catch a few anyway. Winter patterns, Tebo, Pomme, Lower Grand arms I might call some exception at times though.
We Have Noticed A Lot This Year Wether We Are Fishing The Grand Or The Osage The Crappie Are Holding In About The Same Depth, Between 8' And 10' Trolling Or Cedars Or Brush Same On Each Arm, Anyone Else Noticing This?? Hope They Are On The Banks By Next Week Looks Good And Warm.......

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE

I agree. 8 to 10 ft down catch's 95% of my fish on Truman. I can not remember what depth we caught them at today. Oh ya now I remember 9ft. Can not beat the 8 to 10 ft range on Truman year round.
How many did you come up with today Jared?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
One short of one limit but took all day.
