    Default Drop Lines?

Who can elighten me on these? What I'm looking for is the proper way to fish a couple of jigs at the same time, on the same line. Could someone walk me through it step by step (how to tie them)? I'm looking to fish 2 or 3 jigs at a time while trying to determine fish depth and preferred colors.

    Thanks much, MoFire

I just tie on one like normal on the bottem with a palomar knot. Go up 10 or 12 inchs and tie on another with a palomar or loop knot. Has always done the trick for me.

    MoFireman,

Go to this site and look at the Palomar knot, I use it to tie on the jigs leaving the tag end long. I than tie on the second jig to the tag end using a palomar or loop knot. You can look at the loop knot at the web site also. I do it this way because I have trouble getting the double line through the eye if I tie on the bottom first. Doing it this way you can leave the tag as long as you want and add as many jigs as you want. Sometime I will use a jig or jigs and a hook with a minnow. If you use the palomar make sure you wet the line each time you tie the knot to reduce line friction.

Mofireman, I use a double eye jig a lot, and guy groussfly makes them, and he does a heck of a job, one eye on top one eye on the bottom, not to costly, and he can make about any weight groussfly, look him up

I use a loop knot for the top jig and a palomar knot on the bottom
