Pitching jigs, catching slabs, life is good
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

That was the best trip I've had in a while. When you're not in the numbers it's nice to be into good quality fish.
Barn and I caught some good quality fish in Long Creek on Table Rock last fall and I'm wondering if that area will be as good as Bull Shoals.
Won't be back to Bull Shoals for quite a while. Gonna hit Piney Creek on Table Rock Saturday and listen for some Tom's while I'm fishing. Piney is usually good in April, but the water temps. are still super low for this time of year so I'm betting they are still staged out towards the main lake.
Plan on hunting the following weekend until 1:00 if we don't see any Turkeys.
Then it's Kaw Lake Oklahoma first weekend and Decatur IL second weekend in May for some Crappie USA Tournament action.
After that Crappie Camp Truman Lake Missouri........Wahoooooo.
