I would go toward Alrich, I have heard several good reports from that area. It will all depend on the weather and I for one hope it is nice.

In my opinion I would try the shallow first thing, light colored jigs if its bright, dark if it's cloudy, if you dont find them shallow, and it may still be a little earley for most of them to be shallow, then find some deep water arround trees, rocks, docks, some kind of structure, bet they will be close to deep water and getting ready to move in, I have been finding them in the mouths of coves and part way to the back but none in the back of coves. cedar ridge has always been good early in the year. I usually fish east of the the bridge. and the cove to the right towards the back are some cedars check them out, there are some old house foundations straight east of the boat ramp at cedar ridge, on the east bank just by the little cut. go like you were going to high point. stay left and look for the cut its not verry big. stay off the bank and toss in good luck
