Default Kansas City/Liberty Sporting Goods Store

I got a mailer from a sporting goods store in Liberty, Mo that I have not heard about before. It's called Roger's Sporting Goods (web site: Rogers Sporting Goods Home Page ). I'm all about supporting local businesses and wanted to know if anyone been to this place?

Careful... Every time I go there, I come out poorer! (But smiling). They've been around for YEARS but just moved to the new building on the outer road next to I-35. Good people.

I've been shopping there for somewhere around 30 years. Steve Rogers is a good guy. They have good prices, a good selection and a great reputation.

Can't go wrong shopping at Roger's sporting goods. Been shopping there for years - Very good selection for the crappie angler.

Well, I stopped by the store today. I've gotta say, it's the best grown-ups toy store I've been to. 80% of the place is devoted to fishing supplies: rods, reels, tackle, etc; the rest is for hunting. They've got a real good selection of crappie lures. They have a larger selection than Cabelas and about the same as Bass Pro. The price is better than the big guys, of course. And, I've gotta say I think they're right along the same as Wal-Mart's too (surprised about that one). I wish I had more time, but I've got my shopping list for next Saturday. The people there are real nice and pretty knowledgeable about the items they are selling.

I wish you guys would have warned me about that place. Looks like I'll be visiting them after each paycheck. Nobody told me fishing was going to be this addictive. :D

I've been to their old place many times, but not their new one. Drive past it twice a day but haven't stopped in yet. Soon, though. I still have a gift card for that place and I need a new rod. Snapped one.
