    Default WINDY day on Truman

Mrs JJ couldn't stand it any longer and regardless of the forecast of WIND we headed to Truman this morning. It wasn't too bad early but man oh man did it get pretty intense around noon or so.

Regardless of the wind we managed to catch some really nice slabs :D

Details......black/chart, fished edge of flats hardwoods and hedges were the best 8-12 ft deep

    Biggest hog was 13 3/4 1 lb 6 ou

    Thumbs up

Nice job JJ's. You did good for sure considering the wind.

How big did the whitecaps or rollers get up there?

All I can say is your guys are troopers.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Uh nice job but I think you over did your limit! Unless I missed something and the limit on Truman has raised from 15 per person?

LOL Polebender. I was thinking the same thing.

I've only fished Truman once and I just assumed it was the same as Stockton. So when I saw that picture I went and did a little research via google. From what I read it is 30 fish per person per day over 9 inches long.

If I wrong somebody please correct me.
