Just talked to a Evinrude mechanic yesterday and he said "if you use ethanol put green stabil in the fuel, helps stabilize the fuel" for what that is worth.

Barndog how do you use the Seafoam? As a fog or just so much in every tank? Have heard good things about it. Just did not know who it was used. I run the red Sta-bil right now in every tank. When it is gone I was going to get the green marine grade to start putting in at fill ups.

I also use Sea Foam and just pour it in the tank, never used the fog. I do not add it with every file up but there is always some in the tank. I have done this for years and never had a problem.

I use Sea Foam in all my motors. It works great and a lot cheaper than the Yamaha Ring Free I used before.

I use the sea foam every now and then in the summer when I use the boat more. Usually a can to about 10 gallons of gas in the spring to help get out any water and clean the carb from sitting over winter. I have been using it for over 8 years and never had any problems with it. I put a can in my truck when I know I going on a trip to help clean the injectors as I drive.
